Comment: I am working on my genealogy. Roger Goodspeed and Alice Layton Goodspeed imigrated across the pond to Barnstable MA USA. My bucket list now includes a visit to Wingrave. Cemeteries and church records help to connect the dots. Thank you for the virtual tour.

Comment: Hello, I am trying to find out if George Alfred Dickens from Newton Longville who died in WW1 in 1915, was my great grandfather. My grandmother was Annie Dickens from Newton Longville born around 1915 and died in 1981. She was told her Dad died in the war and Her mum was already dead hence the lack of info. Sadly the family never told her about her Dad in any detail. Any info would be great. I have taken Georges details from the NL war memorial and I assume this must have been my relative as he is the only Dickens. By the way Annie married Richard Burr. Thanks.

Comment: Hello, not quite sure who to reach out to but I thought I'd give this a try. I recently started tracing my family history on ancestry.com and found out that (supposedly- because we all know how reliable the internet is) Sir John Baldwin (born in 1470 in Buckinghamshire) is my 14th great grandfather. Naturally now I'm curious to know everything I can about my family in that era. I'm just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction of who to contact or where to look? Sorry if this is the wrong place for this! Thanks in advance.
