BGS Library

The BGS has been building a collection of Bucks documents and transcripts from members work and donations. New members of the society receive a library list on joining, and supplements are sent to existing members at intervals. All BGS library material is available to UK members (via postal loan) and also to overseas members (by purchasing photocopies). Full details are given in the information pack sent to new BGS members.

Representative samples of the BGS library include;

 Transcripts of Bucks parish registers.
 19th century Bucks census transcripts.
 Gibson and McLaughlin guides.

We hold a large selection of other societies journals, and are always willing to exchange copies of our own journal Bucks Ancestor with other societies. All enquiries for journals and census transcripts are handled by:

Anthony McLaughlin, Varneys, Rudds Lane, Haddenham, Bucks HP17 8JP.
