Comment: Hello! I'm researching the family of Thomas Osborn (or Osborne) and Jane French. They lived in Buckingham parish.I found Thomas and Jane's marriage banns in a book that said the banns were read on 8 September 1833 but I haven't been able to find the actual marriage record. I live in the US and would love to know how I should proceed. Thank you.Whitney

Comment: Hello, I am trying to find a baptism record for Jonathan Burdge, born circa 1643 in Marsh Gibbons. Some family trees show that he was baptized there or married there. It is somewhat vague, as there are no photocopied documents to prove this claim. If anyone has an idea of how I should proceed, I am in the USA, I would appreciate an email back. Thanks, Donna.

Comment: Ann Lee b. 1844 Hughenden, Bucks. Father Richard b. same 1807 married Mary Ann Plested 1837. Richards father Charles Lee born 1770. Ann married James Styles 1862, Naphill. Had son Henry, Naphill, b. 1865. No record of Ann, birth or death. James gave their son to his parents before 1871, remarried, moved to Australia (without Henry) and changed his name. Did Ann die or did she leave the marriage?

Comment: I am trying to determine whether George Potter born 1584 in Clerkenwell, London is the son of Robert Potter b 1566 Newport Pagnell and Elizabeth Marshall b 1570 i Abbotts Ann, Hampshire. I have conflicting information. George Potter may have been a brewer in London. The connection is tenuous but I need to confirm the Buckinghamshire connection.Best Regards, Greg Cliffe.
